Sometimes, I tend to rant to my self (mostly in the shower. I know, precious time I could be using singing out of tune.) and never actually wrote any of them down. Till now. Queue cliché jaws music.

I write because I get ideas -and not cliché, done 211 times already- for fics. ORIGINAL ones, that I don’t want to shove in the back of my closet with my dead hamster skeletons. and yeah. Hasn’t shown yet. Because their not so girrrREAT when I write them down. I’m excellent at a plot and maybe a witty quip or two, but that’s my writing talent limit. I don’t write those stories online because for now, they ARE mine. And ONLY mine

And I know, Catastrophe, SOO original. Deidara turns into a kitty. Want to read a kitty ninja story, read Foxed.
Hell, its nearly crack.
And I hate crack fics!!!

They are as if th7 author was actually smoking the afore mentioned substance. Whip out the ganja, laptop and Oreo’s. Its gonna be a LONG night.

I wanna know why these thousands of people write theses stories.

I’ve read -endured- some that have grammatical error so bad, I had a headache trying to decipher their diction after two parag4rag4hs and th7eir words make NO sense. Completely out of order, mistaking here for hear.

I know some people -a lot- say “Tough s**t” I write for myself” but then you send it out over the interweb. And dundun!!! No longer just for you. So… why not give a s**t? All honesty, no one who posts something wants it JUST for themselves. They may not ADMIT it, but we all know we want the praise. (and I LOVE the ones that get the honest truth back -and not a flame, those people are just as stupid and need a life or a good lay- and then get pissy and cuss out the reviewer or feel their soul die inside). Truth hurts and if it didn’t, then it’ll be a lie)

I might not write THE BEST stories, and in fact I know I don’t. I’m not delusional. And I know the “well, if you KNOW good writing, why cant you do it?” thing. Well, because its easier to spot talent than to have talent. And twelve years of having books and literature trying to eat my very being tends to make anyone see a symbol of ‘shadows’ from 20 acres away and I before e except after c can shove it.

There are some magnificent fanfic writers that I can say are in the league of ‘will publish a novel or two if that’s not their chosen profession, and a dozen plus two when it is‘. And I can count those authors on one hand, and have a few fingers left over.


And I ESPECIALLY love the stories with the Authors Note “This story is crap and I don’t know how to punctuate”

Any authors out there, I really wanna know the honest truth. Because frankly my dear, you don’t seem to give a s**t. Has no one heard the words ‘ proof read’ or ’spell ch7eck’ before?

And OC based fics…

I aint touchin that with a 20 foot poll. I’ll just shake my head at that and watch the ground in shame.
I understand the erg to put yourself into these shows. ‘I know I do’ said the crazy ranting person, but there’s never a balance found in fics. And its sad.

So I wanna know why all these people all over the state, country, continent and world do their stories.
For praise? For practice? For criticism? For s**ts and giggles and an ass licking?

If anyone reads rants, give an answer. I now I don’t. Hurray, I’m a hypocrite.
That’s America biotch.

I search long and hard through the night for good stories.

At least be original with your OWN stories. No one wants to read the same thing over and over again in your profile with a different name assigned to each atrocity.
